Royal Adelaide Show. 9/09/2012.

It was my first time to go to the show without the girls and with a guy instead. Bryan wanted to take on the rides, but i dint want to, so he just follows me around. i feel terrible as he was so into the rides, but because i am kinda scared of it, he then insist on just walking around the show with me.. Went wine,cheese, food tasting. Walked pass the shooting game and the same old dude who saw us the week before was there. Bryan insist on getting me a bigger toy. 

And he did....he won me that purple monkey. (reminded me of One tree hill; Brooke Davis's purple monkey..but mine's so much bigger)...see that old man by the side, yeah..he was so frustrated that Bryan came to he's booth again to get me a toy..LOL

Strapped my purple monkey and off we go. We went to have dinner with mum and Chien. Bryan thinks mums' funny..he says he now knows where my funny bone came from..i think Bryan laughs at me not cause i'm funny, but at times...he says i look silly and tends to do weird stuffs. (ie, dance in my jammies....or sing the "milkshake song" while dancing without any rhythmic moves when i'm feeling high)

Went to Malaysian fest on Saturday and "POH" was there...OMG....mum was asking me to take a picture and sending it to her..haha

we got those travel to Malaysia gift bags..and i was walking from booths to booths..and i realize (so did Bryan) that i seriously donno much about Malaysia..and nor have i been to a lot of places in Malaysia.....Bryan further questions my nationality. LOL.. we end up at Myers and then to semaphore to watch "MADAGASCAR"....loving it~~~

On Sunday, we went to gillies marker, got some macaroons..and then head of to handorf. and at night to my house. 

*funny fact* at times, i'm pretty lazy..and Bryan offers to Piggyback ride me..haha...i'm like a 23 yo that gets piggy back and carried around like a freaking child. My fault really, cause at times, we have our pull and chase times where i refuse to budge. that's when he carries me...haha...*spoils to the max

Meeting My mum for the first time.

Mum came over last Saturday for a short visit. Bryan insist we go pick her up. I dint decline to that idea. So before mum arrived at the terminal, Bryan was pretty nervous. Haha. He dressed up handsomely with the White shirt and black pants. Looking sharp as ever. While i just dressed casually (jeans,jacket,shirt and sneakers). So i asked Byran;

Me: What are you gonna say to mum when you meet her?

Bryan: Well i will ask her to give me her daughter. 

Me: O? REALLY? during the first meeting? U joking right.

Bryan: Is that bad?

For some, it isn't...but i think telling my parents that upon the first meeting is seriously bad. I think it applies to most Asian families i think. Well not sure. But if my daughter's guy said that to me during the first meeting...i think i would have something snappy to say. 

Well..anyhoos, we end up at Gelatisimmo for coffee and tea. Mum kept getting calls from my cousins in Perth, their conversations were loud, asking mum about Bryan. Mum gave her approval. haha...and they wanted pictures...so mum took a picture of me and Bryan. to feed off thier curiosity.

Mum end up asking Bryan out for dinner on Sunday. Mum kept referring him (well up till now) as Brandon. =.=" i corrected her countless times..but then got lazy..haha..whatever lar, Brandon and Bryan both starts with the letter 'B'.

Whenever mum cooks, she cooks Bryan's portion. She would always ask "will Bryan eat this? Does he wants dinner? Have he tried this before?"

Mum even invited him to Miri for Chinese New Year. Bryan was trilled..however, he found out that Korean new year falls one days before CNY. Moreover, he contact he's Uni, they wanted him to attend a few class in Feb, and he would have to do some stuffs over at he's uni before class starts, as he's on uni scholarship. when he told me about it, I was quite sad thinking he's going back next Feb. But he assures me he would try hard to make things work (as cause i'm pretty bad at keeping contacts if relationships/friendships are that far apart..say we will be 5066 miles / 8152.94 km apart. haha) well even when my friend, Kathryn is just at Darwin, i haven't talked to her for months, moreover, she does even know i'm dating...yeah...i'm pretty bad..its not that i don't want to, but at times, for me..conversations over the phone aint the same)

I told Bryan i would try, but then if he doesn't hear from me for days, it means i'm at my worse state. that's when he told me that he would be the one trying harder to make it work as he aint letting me go (like seriously? AWW for that) and he loves me dearly. (that i know by he's actions, moreover, to him, i'm like an open book...he knows me well). Well i aint gonna be the mean one lar...i'll also try.

To thank mum, Bryan made a whole lot of sushi to ask me to bring it back to mum. Haha...my man knows how to make Sushi. (i'm a happy girl)

Road trip on both Saturday and Sunday. Me and Bryan decided to spend time together last weekend before he starts working from 7am till 10pm on weekdays...yes, i bet some of u guys are like WTheck?!? i couldn't believe it as well when he told me he accepted another job and is gonna work at night. I wasn't very happy at first, cause he said part of the reason why he wanted to work was cause he wanted to spoil me rotten by buying me stuffs (which i seriously dont need, as i earn my own money).  but the more i think about it, the more i accepted the fact that maybe he needs the money. as rent is quite expensive. moreover, he needs to buy a ticket back to Korea this December. 

Anyhoos, we decided to go to Gorge Wildlife park on Saturday.

and then we head off to The big rocking horse. 

While having our lunch there, this little girl (6/7 years old) kept looking at Bryan and was smiling at him. haha..she was soooooo cute.

We end up going to SingSing for dinner and end our night at Henley Beach; listening to the waves under the pale moonlight. 

on Sunday, we drove to Gawler (45 mins away from Adelaide)..just to go to the Royal Gawler Show. Yeah...i know, its a waste of money, cause i already had tickets to the Royal Adelaide show this Sunday. but then heck, i dont care. i just wanna have fun. 

Cause the trip was long, i got bored and took pictures. haha. and we ate junks till we reached there. 

Time for Bryan to show me he's moves (as he once told me he's nickname during National Service was "Mr. Sniper"...)...

He was good! He won me a Dolphin plush toy. And a smiley,dog and a slingy. The guy who handed Byran the toys was very annoyed with him..haha.

All the toys sits in my car for now. :)

We head off to St Kilda's playground. The playground was HUGE.

While i was posing, sitting on this baby rocking chair, across me, a grandpa was putting he's maybe 2-3 year old grandson on what i'm sitting. Byran kept laughing telling me i look like a happy child. 

Yeah, the place was crowded and i was wearing a dress, so i dint hang around the playground for long. We end our night watching Criminal minds.

we, compared to Kelly and her bf (both bryan's friend), aren't that romantic/cheesy/lovey dovey couples. When out with Kelly and her bf for dinner on Monday  Kelly was all over her man. while me and Bryan just sat at the dinner table and not even holding hands or what so ever, its like we're just friends...Bryan's manager always ask Bryan to gimme a hug or to be a lit more romantic. haha. As she says, our vibe is so dead. LOL.

Ok July 2012, i went back to Malaysia. Stayed 4 days at Denise's place at SG

I had chicken rice almost everyday. Chicken rice at sg cost $2.50-3.00..Chicken rice cost $7.50-8.00 at Adelaide. Practically abused my stomach to the max with chicken rice overload.

rocking our new converse sneakers. it was my first time wearing a sneaker. Bryan helped me tie the lace and completed it with a beautiful ribbon (he described it that way)..haha

some of you guys maybe wondering why i don't post much anymore. well lets say there a few reasons. 

First off, Uni started 2 weeks ago, and I'm heck busy. just had an exam today. Passed it. Damm i hate drug cals. 

2nd, Ive been pretty lazy as well. 

3rd, Some of u may know I'm working on weekends, so i ain't got time to blog at times. 

4th, i hate the new change in blogger. a hassle to post pictures as it always jams. 

5th, clinical just started, so yeah. same old same old, busy as hell. 

6th, (which is the main reason) If you rmber, so maybe saw one of the post i wrote ages ago, i once said, if I'm dating, i would minimised the time i spend blogging or would stop blogging. Yeah. stories out, I'm dating my good friend. Some of you might have guessed it. Other would by now ask (if you have yet saw the picture below) WHO THE HECK IS SHE TALKING ABOUT..its non other than..

Bryan. (pictures taken last night, at Vince's house during Kampung night. Hence, the formal wear) Started off right after melb trip. (ahhh..melb, it bring ppl together, as most of my friends hook up after going to melb, donno why) Obviously, Bryan made the first move, as for those who knows me, or maybe friends who just don't, i don't go around stealing ppl's beau. I don't like the idea of spannar some else's partner. I was put off by the idea as he's got a girl back home, but i dint know they ended it weeks ago, maybe even b4 melb as i never saw him texting her. (actually, i have never seen him text anyone when i'm with him other than he's sisters). Weird huh?

Ok..gtg now..Gonna go to Bryan's workplace. Sushi for dinner again :)

My blog's been dead for about a month.

A lot has happened since the last post.

I went back to miri in July. stayed at sg for 5 days, and less than 2 weeks at miri.

I was ill the next day upon arrival. yeah..i know right, SICK AGAIN?!?! it was pretty bad at night, but ok in the mornings.

I met up with the girls. :)

At the end of the trip, i was suffering pretty badly. Plane ride back to adelaide was exhausting. I was so sick i asked byran not to come over, but he insisted. 3 medications, 2 weeks of sickness. upon seeing him, everything was cured. (o.O) AMAZING.

Anyhoos, uni started. DONT LIKE THE FEELING OF it. i wake up in dread everyday. I felt miserable. Byran kept trying to make me feel better. But i'm missing someone else. My lovely brother. T.T uni starting without him feels so different. moreover janice isnt here anymore. i feel so sad lar. My mood swings been pretty bad cause of it. I'm very sorry Bryan has to suffer cause of me at times.

The downside is that i lost my appetite completely. i dont feel hungry at all, and if i think of food, i would throw up. like yesterday, i ate at 8am, and then only had dinner at 8pm. Bryan was trying to get me to eat. He's manager even made me spicy tuna bimbimbab on tuesday. but i cant drown down the food, even tho it taste yummy.

Been trying to find a room for byran. went to check a house out last night, where a korean couple is currently staying. i was lost as byran was conversating with them in korean. but they seems so nice.

My clinical is at Royal adelaide hospital this sem (RAH). T.T i have to wake up early for this placement as its hard to get to the city in the morning by bus.

Byran's been a sweetheart by helping me solve a few of my problems, even tho he couldnt, he would at least try to make me happy.

Anyhoos....nth much...i am considering changing to another blog. where my post will be short and informal as in dot points. lazy as i am, i might consider. haha

I've been pretty lazy lately...i go to bed at 1am, wake up at 11am. i lied to Bryan saying i woke up at 9am. haha.. cause this kiddo would nag at me..he's those kinda guys that sleeps b4 12am and wake up at 7.30 or 8am. Sharp! he always wake up cause he's hungry.


Been meeting up with him at the city lately...and then just hang around. Nth much...


My life is on a holdup now, i'm still in the honeymoon period where i wanna just sleep in, do absolutely nth and just eat junks everyday. but having Bryan ard, i cant do that at all. As he wont see to it. :'( he's such an active guy compared to me. I've never met a friend like him before. most of my friends do have lazy days.


I've got nth much to blog for now. But that i'm trying to look up for recipes, Baking a cake for Bryan for he's birthday. 


Stalker guy stopped texting and calling..HURRAY!!! 


Been listening to a lot of Lana Dey Ley lately...Byran says her songs makes him sleepy.he thinks she aint putting effort to sing as her song is so conversational.


I start learning how to write Hangul recently..I cannot believe i start learning how to write Korean. its so weird...but Bryan kept encouraging me. And when i read he's texts (which is in Korean) to him..he was so proud...telling me he's grateful for the effort I've put in. (i can read Korean, but then i dont understand the meaning of it at times...so its useless also lar)....


I started learning how to write Hangul out of boredom and partly cause Bryan invited me to Korea next year, and if i do go there, not knowing their language, it could be a pain. Moreover, if i'm in Korea, he suggest i stay at he's house, and cause he's family doesnt speak English, so i'll try to make an effort to speak Korean. 

On Saturday ~


Having Bryan sleeping over was an agony. @.@. He text me even when we're two rooms away. Whats more, i cannot lie about my sleeping time when he's around. Cause while laughing my ass away on Shrek on Tv, he came down and ask me to go to bed as we're waking up at 5am to go to Melb. And just when i tot he's sleeping already at the other room, i got a knock on my door (i was like "o Shyte, got caught not sleeping", as i was reading a book)...he came in and ask to switch rooms as my brother's bed feels like a waterbed to him and mine's more better. (reminded me of Goldilocks at that time)...haha..


Anyhoos...trying to sleep, i couldn't, as i keep getting texts till 2am, i was exhausted, woke up at 4am and couldn't sleep. So i had breakfast at 4am..and woke Bryan up at 5am. 

we head off the airport at 6am. And so after one hr of flight, we arrived at melb :) 

Checked in and both of us walked around looking for food.

Found my FAV food stall. SUSHI SUSHI! Bryan said it was yummy as well. 

Went to Vic market. this time, i spend so much time there. there was so much to see, i got my cute socks. :):). we head off to Melb central. Bryan got he's diesel jeans. I wanted a dress from Forever New... but there isnt any size 6 or 8. :-( ..hang in secret recipe (yes, i love and miss my chocolate indulgences, but had white choc macadamias)

Met up with Jonathan that night. Bryan and Jonat hit off with smoking. @.@..haha..We went to Stalactites. Bryan loves the food there..and then we went to Casino, Byran's first time at the Casino. And i found a cute guy who is the same height as me. I kept telling Bryan i wanted to walk up to that dude and hug him telling him if he smiles like that again, i would really wanna hug him even more....eiii...damm cute lar...but Bryan says he's too old for me..haha..yeah...true...but its rare for me to find a smiling dude whose as short as me. anyhoos..jonat brought us outside to watch this....

It was so pretty :) fire at 10pm for say 10 minutes?

the view was superb as well.

the next day, we changed to the apartment...Byran wanted to visit the museum. 

We went to Lygon st. (dint eat anything there, as we were quite full from buffet breakfast that morning). Went to DFO after that. Bryan found me a beautiful dress, but i dint get it straightaway, telling him i'm still going to look around, and when i came back, the dress was gone @.@... Bryan gave me a disappointed look, telling me i lost a good bargain and a beautiful dress.

o well..nvm..haha..we walked around china town, had dinner at Dragon (something)..and then head to Korean grocery shop to get some Soju and Snacks..cause i told Bryan i wanted to try Soju. 


Drank Soju mixed with beer for the first time. It was so disgusting, i hate beer in general. so i told Bryan i wanted soju plain as it is, he gave me a awe look telling me i'm brave. drinking soju on a cold night is so rewarding..but then drinking soju and staying with a guy who doesnt want the aircon on is pure torture, my whole body was burning hot...

on Tuesday, we decided to walk around the city, to the Parliament house, to st paul and st peter church. 

we went to eureka sky deck 88 

and stayed there looking at the views for about 45 mins...it was sooo beautiful.

After that, we went Bourke st, and to Seoul metro, my first taste of cold Korean noodles...watched Soccer match back at our apartment. And end our night with Soju.


on Wednesday, our last day. i was tired (no, i dint have a hangover)..i was being lazy..told Bryan we should cook at our apartment. and eat something at night. Had Japanese Buffet at Kanazawa 

portion was soooo freakingly small.. Bryan had so much raw fish that night. 


on Thursday, woke up at 7am. to catch our flight at 9am. i exhausted during the flight, slept at byran's shoulder, as i kept twitching, poor baby dint get any sleep at all. the woman beside me was signaling Bryan that i'm a good sleeper.. Bryan laughed and agreed. (he told me that when we got back to my house)...


Upon reaching my house, i told Bryan that i will cook him brunch and then cause i was exhausted, i slept till 9pm (like a goddamm log).. poor Bryan had to wait for me to wake up, but he said its ok as he fell asleep as well :)
